In this role, you will: 

  • Strategic Leadership: develop and implement a competitive, equitable, and outcome-driven total rewards strategy that attracts, retains, and motivates talent across the Group. Ensure alignment with business goals, financial sustainability, and compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Compensation & Benefits Programs: oversee base pay structures, allowances, operational payments, bonus program, leave programs, and employment terms and conditions. Continuously benchmark against industry standards to maintain market competitiveness. Partners closely with Benefits Strategy and Development team on health, life and retirement programs to ensure holistic total rewards approach.
  • Annual Pay Review & Bonus Cycles: plan and manage annual salary and bonus reviews across UAE and global locations, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to the group policies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: partner with senior business leaders, HR teams, and external consultants to provide expert guidance on compensation trends, executive compensation, and workforce planning. Serve as a trusted advisor in shaping strategic compensation decisions.
  • Global Compliance & Governance: ensure all programs comply with labour laws, labour and bargaining agreements, and governance requirements across all outstations. Manage the administration of pay policies, employment contracts and compensation reports.
  • Change and Transformation: drive forward-thinking and transformative approaches to compensation and benefits, identifying opportunities to enhance effectiveness and employee engagement while optimizing costs.
  • Communication: develop and implement clear and engaging communication strategies to educate employees and leaders on compensation structures, benefits offerings, and total rewards philosophy. Enhance understanding and appreciation of rewards programs through impactful communication plans.
  • Technology & Process Enhancement: lead Compensation & Benefits technology initiatives in collaboration with IT, optimizing systems to support efficiency, analytics, and strategic decision-making.
  • Market Intelligence: build and maintain credible external professional networks and leverage industry insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation.


To be considered for this role, you must have: 

  • Human Resources/Compensation & Benefits : 8+ Years
  • Degree or Honours: A post-graduate diploma in HR management or CIPD is preferable but not essential.
  • Experience at least 5 years should have been at a Management level in a Remuneration/ Compensation role.


You'll have an edge if you have: 

  • Experience in global compensation and benefits, ideally within the airline or allied industries.
  • Ability to lead complex total rewards plans and strategies in large, multinational organisations.
  • Strong understanding of global labour laws, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and influencing at the executive level.
  • Leadership expertise in managing teams of specialists, experts, consultants, and managers.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Professional certification (e.g., CCP, CBP, SPHR) is a plus.
